Guess it happens to almost every blogger. Sometimes we try to write something out of nothing. There are bound to be times when our brains go blank and all the surfing for ideas and inspirations comes to nought. It’s times like these that we start writing craps and it smell like dead fish. It stinks so bad that you will catch the stench miles away. Those who has read enough blogs will will smell the difference within the first 3 sentences that this guy is writing craps to make up the figure.
There is a lesson to be learned here. Don’t start a blog on a topic that you are not familiar with. If we do that, we will get stuck in the middle of nowhere. We will run out of idea so fast that before the day has dawned, there will be another abandoned blog. Of course there are no shortage of articles that you can rip from all those free article directories, make some changes and call the article your own, but the satisfaction of writing your own unique creations will be missing and that takes away all the fun that we are suppose to get from blogging.
The, I don’t know if I should describe it this way, sad thing is, so many are eager just to have a blog or start a blog, that they never took into consideration whether they really know or have in depth knowledge of what they intend to write. I mean, if you know something really well and have endless stories or things that you can talk about the topic, chances are you will never run out of ideas.
I think the biggest mistake is to start a blog on a topic that is the most popular. Many thinks it is easy to start a “How To make Money” kind of blog. The competitions aside, the blogger must have a good knowledge of so many things, because making money online involves so many aspects, from the inner workings of Search Engines to the substance of human behaviour the blogger better be well equipped and well read on all. It not as simple as writing a few articles on Adsense and showing off your Adsense checks of $100. That does not make you an expert in making money online.
On the contrary, you might stumble on a blog that writes about nothing but say for example, lawnmowers. Most of you might think this guy is wasting his time having written a few hundred articles on nothing else but lawnmowers. You might even consider him stupid for serving Adsense in a blog like this, but the fact is, here is a real smart guy and he knows more about money making online than every one of you and he probably makes more than all of you combined from his lawnmower blog.
