A New SEO Wordpress Theme
Another day and it’s another SEO Wordpress theme for me. This one is titled Citrus Scraps and it’s the first one from Blogging Expertise. It is coded with Search Engines in mind so let’s see if it brings in a little Search traffic to this blog.
Overall, I kind of like this theme. Orange is one of my favorite colors and it goes pretty well with the blue. I have changed the Post Title colors to blue so that it blends in with the default Adsense color. The fonts too have been replaced to match those of Adsense. The only thing for me to do now is to change the header graphics.
Adsense gurus has been telling us to blend the Adsense into our blogs so it doesn’t look so obvious. This advise appears sensible at first, but after surfing for so long, I have developed what people called Ads blindness. Every blog I go, Adsense are placed at all the similar places so much so that, unless I look at the Ads on the purpose, i am quite blind to them. It’s has become like a second nature to blogs everywhere and it’s what you will be expecting to see. Sometimes it is so refreshing to see blogs that are free of Adsense Ads. It’s laughable, but I actually start looking around that blog to see where he hides his ads.
Maybe a good trick will be to remove Adsense once a while and put in some other ads. Visitors will feel refreshed with your Ads after seeing so may similar Ads. Maybe they will even start clicking on them.
