I cannot agree more with Darren’s fifth tip on the importance of the About page, which many of us has neglected.
I don’t know if you can call this idea of mine a tip but would it be a good idea to:
Create a About Me page to look like Resume of yourself?
There are softwares available to help people come up with a very professional looking resume when they want to apply for jobs. I think using that for the About Me page would be nice. I haven’t tried it though. Has anyone?

Damn, I got to go to those studios and ask the pro to take my pictures. Never know… maybe they want me to model their products instead of writing them.

I don’t think it has to be done that professionally. What I do believe is that the content has to be interesting, and your blog or whatever you write must have a Unique Selling Proposition that will attract people to want to read more.
After reading yours, and realizing that I’ve yet to properly do up my “About” page on both my blogs, I think I shall give this task top priority this weekend.
