A Search Engine Marketing Blog
I think Darin Carter, like me, must be a big fan of John Chow. Somehow, during my blog hopping round this morning, one blog lead to another and I found myself landing flat on his blog. My first impression was, “hey, did John Chow changed his blogs colors?”. This blog bears uncanny resemblance to JohnChow.com, except John Chow’s primary colors are blue while this blog uses lots of yellow.
It was not until the page was fully loaded was I to know that this blog belonged to Mr. Carter whose expertise is Search Engine Marketing. Ahh… just my kind of blog, I thought. I can never get enough information on Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. As luck would have it, I stumbled into a good apportunity to get a backlink from a blog that is relevant mine as Darrin is presently offering bloggers to review his blog in return for a link from his PR2 blog AND at the same time stand a chance to Win a Nintendo WII. My dream Game console!
I like the design and colors of this blog. It’s pleasant to the eyes and it’s not choked up with too many advertisements. That being said, I see Darin charging only $60.00 for his ReviewMe reviews at this blog. JohnChow.com a PR6 blog, is charging $400.00 for his reviews. Perhaps Darin like me, doesn’t have much luck with reviews, though I see he did try to kickstart his review writing by doing a few on his own favorite sites.
My favorite category and the word that brought me there in the first place is the SEO category, upon browsing that category, I chanced on another blog started by Darin talking about the very core of my interest, SEO - Search Engine Optimization. I bookmarked that site and should be going back there to check out more if it.
Many of his postings are short and sweet, though I certainly would like to see more in depth opinion of the topics posted. Hopefully, things will change for the better after the review by JohnChow. I came to know of that after going through the comments on his “Review My Blog” and seeing a pingback from JohnChow.com in that post. I bet traffic to this blog will increase many folds after the review from such an influential blogger. That was money well spent, Darin.
