Everyone who knows me in the blogosphere knows me as Ah Pek. My real name is Fong, but friends calls me Costa, thus my published name. I made a small name for myself using the nick Ah Pek, when I started blogging casually in the year 2004 using the blog URL ahpek.blogspot.com. It is defunct now. After about a year or so with blogspot, I decided that I wanted to try blogging in Wordpress , so I started a new blog at blogsome, also under the name Ah Pek, using ahpek.blogsome.com as my new URL. It was there that I decided that Wordpress was for me and after some persuasions from blogger friends, I finally bought and launch my first domain on the 21st or September 2006.
This proved a turning point in my blogging life and I sort of became very encouraged when I see traffic to that blog increasing daily and I made many more new friends. Then opportunities to make some money from blogging emerged, propelling my love for blogging to a new high. Encouraged by this new phenomena, I bought another domain and started another blog, solely for the intention of making money from it. It did quite well to gain a very good PR after 2 months and I have been getting some good review offers from that blog. However, i did not loose direction and do update that blog with good articles of my own everyday.
After blogging for 2 years or more, I felt that though quite popular the blog has no international flavor and realised that it will not go very far. After thinking over, I decided to get another domain with the hope of making it into a universal blog where the topics will appeal to a world wide audience and this decision was the reason this blog was born. There is another story behind this domain, but it is not worth mentioning here.
This blog will serve to expose my learning experience and my continuous journey to become a better blogger. It is my hope that from sharing what I am learning here in this blog, I will learn even more.
