I was just about going to monetize this blog when my Adsense account got banned. Not that I have anything to do with it. There was 125 clicks on my Ads on Saturday and till now I am still blur as to what had happened. Since I have a few blogs running adsense, I don’t know which blog got attacked. I have decided not to appeal as Adsense was not doing too well in my blogs anyway. I have decided to go for the alternative Bidvertiser ads.
I has been a few weeks since I started working on my own theme and it is progressing rather slowly. I have been checking on other designer’s blog and sites trying to get some fresh insights and ideas. I have tried out lots of themes and somehow, I find most of them not suited to my taste or needs. I was hoping there is one theme that can have all the necessary plug ins included so I can just use it out of the box. The present one that I am using for my anchor blog has almost all that I asked for and I am quite happy with it. The problem is when something that nice is given away for free, it becomes very popular and in no time , many people will be using it. The uniqueness factor is gone. I will be copying some of the codes from that theme. Especially the Sitemap php. Just hope it will work with my theme though.
In the coming days, this blog will see some changes in direction as I try to implement what SEO gurus have taught. I have come to realise that I cannot depend on friends alone to make a blog successful. Maybe the realization came a bit late, or maybe I chose not to address this realization before, but from now, this blog will be my testing platform. Lets see if I have enough perseverance to see this through.
