Some thinks they know everything, or they imagine themselves to know everything after reading some blogs. Some are proud and refuse to ask questions fearing that by asking too much will show their deficiency. So they remain where they are, living amidst a cloud of false pretences and acting like Mr or Miss Know It All.
The sad truth is, we can never know all and the sadder truth is we will never be able to know all. There are so many things out there that will never be revealed to us, even if we are willing to pay for it because if they were to reveal what they know, they risk gaining another competitor. It is basic business sense and every business has their secrets.
So there will never be a Mr or Miss Know It All. I know so, so little. In fact I know so little that I had resorted to buying knowledge. I have bought ebooks, I have bought tutorials and I have bought programs. Don’t laugh and think I am foolish. Now I know something that lots of others doesn’t because they think buying for information is stupid and it shows your inferiority. They think they already know what will be written in those books or tutorials. I too had this mentality until I bought my first tutorial whereafter I realized that indeed, there are something that we will not find if we are not willing to pay.
Is this fact hard to swallow? Do I get feeing that these people who are selling their knowledge are moneysuckers? Yes I do, but what can I do? They have something I want and I have something they want. So it’s a fair trade and I can’t complain about it.

I agree there’s no shame in buying knowledge. If it’s valuable to us, then it’s justified.
It’s our money and it’s our life. Who’s to judge?
I don’t know everything yet, but someday…
I haven’t resorted to buying knowledge yet. There’s so much good free stuff left to sort through.
Buying knowledge is something bad? Why books exist in the first place?
Well, the same feeling has gone through me when I bought my first digital product as well. Anyway, I will only pay when the product receives good testimonials from well-known figures in the field since the market is starting to be flooded with copycat or sub-standard products.
I totally agree with you that as bloggers we are all learning something new everyday, and if we aren’t then we should be. For me, blogging is about earning money, but it’s also about learning from other people about how I can become a great blogger. Great post BTW.
