Beautiful WordPress Themes For Free

I scout for Free WordPress Themes in my spare time. Sometimes I come across gems and sometimes I come across plain rubbish. There are so many so called WordPress Theme designers who are plain frauds. They download a theme, make some alterations to the CSS so they look a little bit different from the original, call it their own and offer them for download. To the eyes of a unbeknown-st, they give them credit, but for those whose hobby is trying out new themes, I can smell the filth a mile away.

I don’t have any grouses about taking a theme and modding it the way you like. In fact I like modding themes, but it is unethical to call it entirely your own when all they did was altering the looks. The core of the theme still belong to someone else and it is only fair that the original author gets the credit for it.

Today, I want to introduce a site I subscribed to, Top Tutorials. If you do a search for WordPress Themes, you will seldom see this site in your search results as they don’t emphasise these keywords in their blog title. However, this site has the most beautiful free WordPress Themes that you can find. The kind of themes you get there will cost you at least 59USD if you download them from Template Monster or any other sites selling premium themes.

Authored by a pretty sweet girl, Lisa, who prefers to be called Lorelei, the fact that her themes are so beautiful is because she is an expert in Photoshop and she can do coding. In fact TopTuts, is choked with Photoshop Tutorials, so for those who likes to dabble in Phtoshop, it is a good resource too. Check out the “About” page for more.
