Becoming A Self Reliant Blogger

self-reliant

A nation, if she do not have to import any daily necessities, like food or water, is a rich nation. It means that nation is self reliant and can feed her entire population without being dependent on others. A family who do not have to borrow to put bread on the table can also be considered to be a rich family.

Though this richness may not be measured on materialistic terms, realistically, they are rich because they do not need to survive on charity. Even if calamities strikes the rest of the world, the nation which produces and has enough food stockpile for her population, will persevere.

Thus if you have a blog, the first lesson you have to learn is to become a self reliant blogger. Even if your hundreds of emails asking for a small mention has been rejected, you too will be able to survive.

Lesson one. Always remind yourself the fact that appreciation is something given, not something that is asked for. If someone appreciates you, for something you have done or for some deeds you have accomplished, they will refer you without you having to asked for it. Asking for appreciation shows your weakness and your lack of self confidence. With appreciative friends around, you will never be alone.

A guy who does not have that is often a guy who is selfish and arrogant. Someone who always wants something for nothing.

The second lesson to self reliancy is never believe it when those many A listers tells you, you do not need Google. You need Google and you need Google like hell. Even when everyone abandons you, even when all your friends leaves you, Google will not. Google can be your most loyal friend, PROVIDED, you play along her rules. God forbid if you bend those rules. Hell Hath No Fury Like Google Scorned. Remember that.

When Google says she needs some keywords in your title and in your post so she can understand more clearly what your blog or post is about, do make those keywords available to her. When Google says you should not bomb her with TOO many keywords, make sure you do not bomb her. When you know Google likes to see your post linked by others, go get some links to show her. When you know Google loves keywords as anchor text, make sure you have your keywords as the anchor text when you get those links. In short, do everything that Google likes and you will be richly rewarded.

There are blogs that has no subscribers, no twitter followers and no loyal readers, but yet Google sends them thousands visitors daily. That’s because they have Google love. With that, you don’t need much friends and your blog could be a self reliant blog making you hundreds of dollars monthly.

What can I say :) The comparison chart of the top 4 search engines says it all. It’s few months old, but the numbers won’t have changed that much for sure!

I also read somewhere that you can just ignore the other search engines!I also read that whatever happens with your blog is the outcome of the past. So when you try out those new keywords or corrections you have made, you have to wait a little!

Let’s say for me, I am new, and Google loves sites that have been around!

Can anyone imagine what today’s world would have been without Google, or equivalent of it?

Yup, no blogger can succeed without Google. Though others do provide a trickle of traffic, it’s nothing if compare with big daddy.

And yes, Big G loves old maids. The older your blog is, the more love you will get! LOL.

Bad for new bloggers and web sites :) good the users! U wouldn’t want a new scam site to rank on the first page, get ur money then vanish
