Thanks for the link in your article.  I knew the ad flip would generate buzz, but not quite this much.

I had this reservation too, but then John said in his blog post that his $1000 rate was only good through September.  Since Bidvertiser has already bought the ad for September (and nobody knows what John will charge after that), $1500 (prorated daily) is now quite a bargain.
