I have always being of the opinion that it can’t. My perception has took a 360 degree turnabout today. I just realized that we can and should because, low traffic blog can make money like any others. The only thing we need is to know how to bring in the traffic and Vic(sorry, i always misspell his last name, so I will just address him as Vic) is going to show me or rather us, if you are interested, how a low traffic blog can make money
A couple of weeks a go, I did a comparison between BloggingZoom and BlogospereNews, two different Social Sites that I submit to. That post attracted the attention of Vic who is also the co-founder of BlogginZoom to come here and gave me short lesson on how to do a good and proper submission when submitting a post. It was there that I got to know Vic a bit better and I have been stalking his blog ever since, sometimes up to 5 or 6 times a day, for this guy never sleeps. He updates his blog at the most unearthly hours and if you are a little bit late, he would have moved on to his next post. I had in a post of his commented and asked if a low traffic blog can make money.
Anyway, just about an hour ago, Vic posted his latest entry entitled, Make Money Online Now or Starve, which touched on how a low traffic blog can make money. I was so touched because he mentioned that this post was for me. You see, I have been asking a lot of silly questions in his posts, so I gather he must be quite fed-up with me so he wrote a post purposely to address my problem hoping I will stop making a nuisance of myself ever again. Hard luck. I am a thick skinned bastard and he won’t be getting rid of me so easily now that I have found him.
I know many of my readers are also struggling like me to break out of the shell. For the good of your good self and your blog, just for heaven’s sake go and read Blogger Unleashed. I deleted all my other feeds about making money, about improving low traffic and other whatnots, leaving only Blogger Unleashed intact because I don’t want to be distracted by any other so called advises that claims that I can make money with a low traffic blog, but all in theory and never really works.
UPDATE: It’s nearly five minutes after I posted this article. It now ranks Number One in Googles for the term “Can A Low Traffic Blog Make Money” Vic, if you are reading this, I salute you!

It really depends on your niche. If you got good conversion, a not bad traffic blog is far better.
Recently, there has been a good deal of litigation by the
American FTC against blogs and website developers
for not publishing their advertising profits, or potential
connections with advertising networks.
What are your thoughts concerning how this could hurt
the blog world?
I only agree to the fact that if blogs writes an advertisement WITHIN their post, like a paid review, they should reveal that the post is being compensated for. It is only fair to the guy reading the Advertisement.
However, I do not agree to publishing the amount that is being paid or profits made as this can be considered as a trade secret.
I don’t think it will hurt anybody if rules are followed. Advertisers will still seek out popular blogs to publicize their products simply for the fact that the exposure is much better than other Advertising media.
