That's why people build for themselves something called a link farm where they can get links for themselves. However that is not a method propagated by "straight" bloggers. The legit way of getting the required links for yourself is to submit articles to article directories which allows you to embed a link or two in your articles. Then there are also legitimate link directories where you can also submit your post and your blog. There are so many methods to get links if you read about link building. Mitco,

But you do know no one wants to link especially to new sites =). It's like you have to have 1 already successful site to link your new ones there to get the boost.
