2. No Access to Exclusive Developer resources
These includes special code snippets, child theme and other valuable resources that Theme developers will need.
3. Not Eligible to Become A Marketplace Contributor
Catalyst Theme has a marketplace where owners of the Developer Edition can submit their Skins and Child Themes for sale listings. The service is free and the Developer keeps all the profit. They have to manage and keep track of the sales themselves though.
Is The Catalyst Theme Basic Edition A Good Option
It definitely is. The 3 non access area is not important at all for an average user. Unless you are a Web Developer who designs web sites for a living, you will have no business wanting all the extra resources.
