Let Google Decide Your KeyWords

Google success

There was a time not too long ago that I made some money by creating many one page mini sites selling one single product using the 7 dollar script. It was the time after Google decided that BANs sites and sites running on similar scripts was not to be indexed by them and ebay decided that they will only pay for clicks that brings them some benefit. The whole bunch of us in the same community went gaga over creating mini sites as it provided us with an alternative to make money online.

Long Tail Keywords

Written by Costa on May 31, 2010 - 14 Comments
Categories: Seo

Long Tail Keywords, just in case for those who are still wondering, are words stringed together to create a phrase that contains your keywords. It would be more appropriate if one calls it Long Tail Keyword Phrases instead of just keywords, but somehow, people prefer to omit the word “phrase”. Why are SEO experts and MMO bloggers so obsessed with Long Tail Keywords?

Can A SEO WordPress Theme Increase Search Traffic

First, imagine a library. Inside this library, there are thousands of books on different categories, topics and titles. The librarian is one lazy fellow. Other than giving the library a attractive coat of paint, he just loaded the library with all the books he can afford. Of course he stacked the books neatly on shelves but he did not arrange al the books according to their categories and topics. He did not bother even arrange them in alphabetical order. Thus, when someone walks into the library, they have a hard time looking for what they want.

So Now SEO Is Important

Written by Costa on February 25, 2010 - 23 Comments
Categories: Seo

Somewhere along the earlier stages of my blogging life, I decided that blog gurus are not telling me the truth about building traffic to my blog. They are adamant that if you write good quality articles, every thing esle will fall into place. People will start spreading the word around that you have a good blog. Contents is King, they say. You do not need SEO. SEO is not important.

What are backlinks. What can backlinks do for your blog and how does it affect your rankings in the Search results. What The Heck Is Dublin Core

Written by Costa on January 25, 2010 - 10 Comments
Categories: Seo

Like all paranoidical (if there is such a word) bloggers, I like my blog to be as SEO complaint as I can possibly make it to be. So I follow SEO blogs and read their articles like the Bible. SEO is also included in my Google Alerts lest I miss out on the latest development. Though I don’t necessary follow each and every tip I read because I lack the knowledge and resources to implement most of it, I try to keep up. In all the SEO advise and tips I have read, pathetically, I have never come across the word, ‘Dublin Core’, What the heck is Dublin Core and what the heck have it got to do with SEO.

Do you wonder why you are not getting any sales when after you have done research on a certain keyword and your finding tells you that there are tens of thousands people searching for that keyword every month? The hits are there to justify that the keyword does indeed have search potential, but the sales are not forthcoming.

Speed Up Your WordPress Theme To Rank Better in 2010

Written by Costa on January 8, 2010 - 12 Comments
Categories: Seo

SEO is a bitch ain’t it? Google changes algorithms at their whims and fancies and what we know now might be obsolete one or two months down the road. It’s a tough job catching on all those new information that I have practically given up trying. I used to be over paranoid over these things. I fear losing out on whatever rankings that I am enjoying at present for my keywords so whenever Matt Cutts announces some new changes, I can’t help but use to worry if my blog here is up to it.

How To Structure Your Post Title For Search

Written by Costa on November 14, 2009 - 6 Comments
Categories: Seo

Yesterday I wrote about how I prefer to structure my post title so I can get a combination of long tail keywords to get more search hits. Under normal circumstances if our blog is updated regularly, is considerably aged with and good authority on a certain niche, our post will get indexed pretty fast, sometimes within minutes. If you have structured your titles according to what you think people will search for, search hits will come soon after that.
