Codes to Increase Blog Traffic to your Blogs

by Costa on May 13, 2007

The theme that I am working on is not coming up to my expectation, so I have left it idle while I try to ponder how to go about it. Today I found a rather nice theme which you are seeing now called iTheme by nDesign Studio. It has a nice Mac look and since my won theme won’t be ready till the cows come home, I have decided to use this theme instead.

A Simple SEO code to Enhance Search Traffic.

For all the themes that i used, I always insert a code into my header. php to enhance the chances of Search Engine finding my blog. This code, written by Chris Pearson a blog designer and SEO guru seems to be working with my “Making a Living” blog and I have been enjoying considerable Search Traffic to that blog. Of course like I said before, there must be something for the Search Engines to search first. If your blog contains no Search able terms or keywords, then whatever codes, no matter how powerful, will still do no good. Do go and download this code and try it out. Should be really useful for niche blogs.

Another enhancement that Googles would love is a Sitemap in your blog. If your blog theme does not have a sitemap page you too can create one with tips and codes provided by Chris Pearson. It works with all themes, but for this theme, I can’t seem to be able to correctly style it. Anyway, it doesn’t make much difference even if it looks ugly because it is meant for Googles only and I don’t think anyone would be interested to look at it. The tips and the codes needed to create a XHTML Sitemap can be also be downloaded from Pearsonified.
