Competitive Blogging
As a brand new year looms, the scenario of the blogosphere is evolving at a speed that I can hardly catch up. Maybe it has been evolving all this while but I was too dumb to have noticed until now. The blogging world has evolved into something so very competitive that those who depends on it for survival has to come out with now innovations and ideas every so often or else face extinction from the surface of the blogosphere. Blogging is fast becoming an extreme sport where only the fittest can survive successfully.
To worsen the competition, instead of making it difficult for newbies to start a new blog, it has been simplified so much that all a guy needs is 5 minutes and they can have a blog running with all the smokes and ashes. Coupled that with the endless bombardment from bloggers who has an agenda, telling people how easy it is to start a blog to make money, the blogosphere will soon see a population boom so bad that many are going to die of starvation before they reach puberty.
Blinded by ill advise that only tells them what they see on the surface, they jumped on board, expecting to make it big, only to realize later on that there is more to it than just registering a domain, blog, add AdSense and start making money. They were left wondering in puzzlement as to why it is not working for them when all the gurus professes that it is guaranteed to work.
Each day, thousands are lured into the sphere with these promises and each day, thousands who have been inside for a few months or years are feeling dejected and disillusioned. Those who don’t bother to dig and hunt for the real truth, simply give up, relegating their blogs to the ever growing throes of the blog graveyard.
