Do you love your Blog?

Do you? Of course you do, or else you wouldn’t be blogging at all. What I meant was, do you love your blog Theme? I believe that a blog theme makes a big impact on you and your visitors, but first of all you must like your own theme. If you are having doubts about the theme you are using, then I think it’s time you change. There is no point coming to your own blog everyday to look at something you don’t actually like.

I am very choosy when coming to blog themes. I change them like I change clothes. This is a terrible practice from a blog gurus point of view. A Blog’s theme is suppose to be the blogger’s brand name or his trademark. Since all bloggers are invisible entities, the only way to envision him or her is through their blogs theme. The theme is suppose to portray the blogger’s personality and character.

Sometimes it’s very difficult to find a suitable theme that would suit the blog’s topic and at the same time illustrate a little bit of the Blogger themselves. Unless they can afford to hire a professional designer to design one to their liking, the only resource is the free themes that are available in abundance. Most free themes are designed to suit the designers taste or what is deemed good by the designer. Some designers, realising this, designs themes that are kept to the bare minimum so that users can have a free hand modding them into something they like.

This present theme is one such theme. It can actually be modded thoroughly because the designer meant it to be that way. I too had plans to change somethings but the more I look at it, the more I became attached to it in it’s original form. Those big bold titles really have character in them when you get use to them. The only problem I have with this theme now is it does not support widgets and it’s a pain trying to add things into the sidebar. Just hope someone will be good enough to widgetise this theme.
