Genesis 1.8 was officially released today after about a week or so after the beta. This latest version made a few heads turn because of its responsive design which I wrote about when I tested the beta version. It was very innovative for Genesis to take the lead into capturing the market for WordPress Themes that responds dynamically to different screen resolutions. Looks like other premium theme developers will have to buck up some to catch up with what Genesis 1.8 has to offer.

Genesis 1.8 Ready For Immediate Download
For those interested, Genesis 1.8 can be downloaded here with immediate effect. You can either choose to download the core framework which consist of the standalone Genesis 1.8 or if you wish, you can bundle it with one or all the Child Themes available.
Frankly, like I said in my previous post, the new default template is already quite nice and if you are not to fussy with looks, you can use it outright without any Child Themes.
