Helen

Thanks!

Danny
I don't quite get what you wrote. Getting to the top of Google SERPs is easy, now that I know how. If you search for the term,
"Getting the Right Keyword" now, you will see I rank 1 and 2 on the front page. I did it in less than 10 minutes after posting.

I based this term on what I would use if I were looking for info about wanting to get the right keywords.

The difficult part is getting the hits from your number 1 position. There is no joy in being top in Google SERPs but you get 0 hits from it.

To get a keyword or an exact phrase that 2000 or more others would use everyday is the ultimate goal. If you rank number one in Google and 2000 uses that same words for their searches you are almost guaranteed of 2000 hits daily from that keyword. Else there is no point being number 1.

It's not just about the keywords. From my observation, it's through:

1. Keyword
2. Heading
3. Copy
4. Bold
5. Link
6. Italic
7. Frequency
8. Traffic

I discovered this through my Apple iPhone in Malaysia series which has made my blog one of the top ones in Malaysia for those keywords.

I also believe the older the keyword, the more difficult it'll be rank it. For instance, getting the right keyword or finding the right keyword phrase may take longer depending on the search trend. :)

motd

LOL. Ya.. it's an ongoing experiment. It seems Google robots picks up highlighted words either in bold of within the "h" tags better and faster. I am just trying the method out.

Many prefer to do that with sub titles which has the same effect.
