For those who have been following my series of posts on how to sell your own products with your WordPress blog, we come to this concluding post where we will see how we can link our products “BUY” button to the templates that we have uploaded. In the last post we have uploaded all the files needed to create a successful transaction. Now it is time to write your super convincing sales pitch.

Unfortunately, I am not very qualified to teach you guys on writing good sales copies so I will skip that part. You should do your own research on copy writing and a very good source is Copyblogger. However, from my experience, if you already have an established niche blog on a specified topic where the majority of your readers are coming from search engines, you will enjoy more success.

For eample, if you have a blog about cooking which gets a few hundred unique hits a day, selling a recipe book will be a good choice. It is common sense. So if your blog is a personal one, talking about how many times you fed your dog or how many times you argued with your spouse, then I don’t think you should be selling anything at all. You will only be wasting your time.

Right then. Taking my blog as an example, I get a few hundred hits per day from search queries terms related to the words WordPress Themes. So I know I have some authority on that word. Naturally, if I write a post about Making Money Online With Your WordPress Themes, the post will be ranking well in the Search Engines. Therefore, if I want to sell a product here, I would be selling something that is related. Which is exactly what I have put up here as an example.

As the motive of this post is to show you how to link the “BUY’ button to the uploaded script I won’t be writing any sales pitch. In your case, you should. You should also include a image of the ecover and a good summary of what is inside the package that you are selling.

For this working example, I have here 100 professionally designed WordPress Themes that you can use in any way you see fit. These are not the cheap round the mill Themes which looks all the same except for the header images Each theme in the package have a different look and scheme. Some are 2 columns and some are 3 column themes.

That ends my super convincing sales pitch. When you too have finish yours, upload the sales button. As we are only accepting payments form PayPal, we will not be using the button image that comes with the package. You can design your own buttons or you can do a search for PayPal buttons and you should be able to find many that are free. I designed the one that I am using here.

When you upload your button, make sure you include the Link URL so you can replace it with the 7 Dollar scripts link. The codes will look like this.

Replace the URL after the a href tag with this:

Remember all letters are case sensitive and should be exactly as it looks in your server.
