Take a short break from Learning SEO and turn to teaching a little instead. This is for a blog friend of mine who have just purchased his own Domain and is in the blur as to how he can replace the default Kubrick theme with a nicer one with 3 columns. I was suppose to email him this tutorial, but thought more beneficial if I posted it here. Who knows there may be others who are also having some problem changing their themes.
Presuming that you have downloaded the theme you like and extracted it to your desktop.
First and foremost, you will have to download the very reliable and easy to use FTP client FileZilla. Then head over to this WordPress tutorial on how to use and set up this FTP client so that you can easily upload your files.
When you open Filezilla, you will see two panes. The left pane shows all your local files or whatever you have in your computer. The right pane shows the files in your server.
On the right pane, click to open public_html and you should see all your WordPress files there. Click on wp-contents, then themes and all the Theme folders that you have installed can be seen there.
On your left pane, locate the new Theme that you intend to use. Hopefully you have unzipped it to your desktop as that will be the easiest place to find. If you have unzipped it into any other location, you will have to navigate to that folder.
After locating the new theme folder, you can now either drag the whole folder to the right pane or right-click on the folder then choose ‘Upload’. Make sure you are uploading the Theme to the themes folder in wp-content on your right pane.
After uploading, in your right pane, open the newly uploaded theme folder. Right click on Stylesheet css and set permission to 644 so you can edit the file if you want to do some modifications. Do the same for the single php, index php and or whatever files you intend to edit. Some servers has already set these permissions for you so you do not need to do anything.
You are done with the Uploading and can exit from FileZilla now. Go to your WordPress Dashboard – Appearance- Themes. Look for the theme that you have just uploaded and activate it. Enjoy your new theme.

What should i do.
Ket,
I don’t think there is anything else you could other than getting in touch with your host to reset your Cpanel login username and password.
that’s the info you need for Filezilla to access your data on your server.
Thanks,
I found your site very suggestive for new wordpress users. Can I give them links on a forum.
Ket,
Please do.
