You need to have a thick skin.
In view of your limited knowledge about the subject, you will probably be giving a lot of wrong advises, thus you will get flamed quite often by people who knows better. If your skin is not thick enough, you will feel the heat and you will not have the willpower to carry on and succeed.
You need to be a good liar

You need to be a big show off

You must be oozing tons of self confidence

A wonderful article! You make a good point here! And I must add that’s not just about blogging! Almost any commercial on the TV will convince you to buy a product that really wont do half of the things the commercial says it will 
However the commercial is so good that it will persuade you to spend your money!
Basically don’t feel guilty about what you say or claim to do or have! Even though it might seem like a lie for the others, if you believe it, then it’s true for you. That’s how i think people that make a living this way can sleep at night without any moral issues. They just believe they are right! I

I would say that 99% of bloggers about making money online will do all the things you said above…but there are a good 1% who will actually tell you the cold hard truth

It is never good to suggest those things except of course in humor. The marketers and bloggers who behave like that are responsible for giving a bad reputation to business. The new rules from the FCC has to do precisely with that. Eveyone suffers because of a few rotten apples. But by following the rules we can move forward and the scoundrels found out.
