The Internet boom during the last 10 or 15 years has taken everyone by surprise. It’s phenomenal growth spurred into an industry so enormous that anyone who has the power to control whatever flowing in the Internet would have the power to rule the world. The people who can actually do that are our Internet Service Providers, in short, the telephone companies that provide that tiny weeny cable to our house. For the past few years, giant telecommunication companies have indeed shown that they do have that ambition to control what goes round the Internet and if they do succeed, consequences will be highly damaging. Realizing this probability, a wave of Internet Freedom Fighters, fighting for internet neutrality has emerged to combat against this scourge that if kept unchecked, may one day bring the total disintegration of the Internet. Sites like Save The Internet has taken the lead, bringing their fight right up to Washington.

Great article. I totally agree with you and definitely am in your corner. Its getting ridicolous in the amount of control and ‘big brother’ type grip some of these groups are putting on the Interent.
It is about time someone stood up and yelled ‘enough is enough ‘. We have to protect our freedom on the Internet within certain reasonable conditions.
We want the Internet to be around for awhile so we need to let our voices be heard.
Amen to that
In past few years the use of internet has exploded. However companies with deep pocket are the biggest player since they are seen on top of the search favouring them.
Unbiased and valuable information are some times hard to find since they do not showup in the search or buried deep inside. I think with time the internet has changed as well.
Sam is correct. The internet has changed so much
Don’t give big brother a chance to sink his teeth into our internet. Check out some cool information about the web series dedicated to Net Neutrality at http://web.illish.us
yes. it’s true. In past 10-12 years the use of Internet is growing and growing more even and faster. All the things are being done by Internet.
