Let me do a tech post for a change, not that I am much of a tech geek and I do not even own an iPhone. But, I like to keep up with times and this antenna issue with the iPhone 4 is currently being hotly discussed in the Web. Just for the benefit of those who has no idea what the hoo haa is all about, first watch this video put up by CNN.
A big dent in the reputation of Apple. As damage control, Apple issued this Press Release to put the blame on a software problem rather than a design flaw.
However, to prove Apple is not admitting to it’s own fault, Engaget put the iPhone through a series of test which came to this latest conclusion,
our iPhone 4s are actually located across the country in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, and we saw the app respond that way regardless of location. Dropped calls and other effects weren’t as consistent, however, and we’re still testing to sort out when the effects of the antenna issue are the most severe.
In the meantime, Gizmodo is running an online petition to have Apple give out free new cases for those faulty iPhone 4.
Interesting huh?
