Dosh Dosh is holding a reader’s survey on “The Best Way To Make Money Online” When a blogger with Maki’s reputation does a survey like this, you can rest assured the response will be overwhelming. By the time I submitted my two cents, my comments were numbered at 54.
With that kind of response, I was expecting to learn a thing or two that I haven’t come across before, but with due respect to all those who commented and to Maki, I was disappointed to say the least, that most of the comments were age old ideas that I have come across before umpteen times in my quest to look for the “Best Way To make Money Online”
For a survey like this, I would have expected Maki’s readers to come up with ideas that they themselves have tried and which has worked for them, so that maybe I could imitate their ideas here. However, most went on a lecture on “How to make money Online” instead. I mean, these ideas have been around for so long that if it is the “Best” as Maki has requested and I had wanted to hear, everyone would be making good money by now.
Maybe I could be wrong and those methods did worked for them, but it all seems terribly difficult for me. I mean, how easy is it to have an “authority blog”? How easy is it to build massive traffic? How easy is it to have a whole network of blogs? How easy is it to get Advertisers to your pitiful blog? All these ideas are all super difficult to achieve in order to be able to start making money online. Well, it is difficult for me at least.
So after reading all the comments, I came to the conclusion that, for me, there is no such thing as the “Best Way” other than go and start writing some Paid Posts. And that was what I told Maki in my comment.
I still beleive AdSense is the best way to make money from a content website/blog. While the eBook business is getting saturated right now, AdSense surely the better choice
