Daniel of Daily Blog Tips released his second free WordPress theme today code named GreenTech. I downloaded the theme wanting to use it for this blog but was quite disappointed as all my images went out of alignment. For some reason, the theme was designed with images aligned to the left as default. I have always found it strange that most designers leaves out the Image Align function in the stylesheet.
Another favorite function of mine which is also sorely missing is the “edit” function. I have a terrible habit if missing out on spelling mistakes even after going through my post a couple of times before publishing. The “edit” button will make it easier for me to correct my mistakes.
The Theme does not have a Single Post file so what ever you put in your front page will also appear in your Singles page. I think this is because it was designed to be used with Daniel’s Post Excerpts plugin and whatever banner or image you insert will never appear in your front page, but then, what about those who does not like excerpts ?
I quite like the theme’s look though. Maybe I’ll add in the functions I mentioned above, change the color and fonts a bit before using it here.

It’s a nice looking theme but that it has non-standard internal structure is a big minus for those who like to mod themes.
