Latest WordPress Theme By Dezzain Studio - Box Theme
This blog is fast becoming a testing ground for latest WordPress Themes. One of my latest favorite theme designer, Richie from Dezzain Studio rolled the latest theme code named Box Theme and as you can see it in action here, it is another kick arse Theme which he can easily sell for a couple of hundred dollars. Yet it is FREE theme!
Some really cool features which you can’t find in any other free theme has been added and this makes it really stands out and very professional looking for those who like to add pictures. Not mentioning the image align attributes that has always been included in all of Richie’s themes, this time this feature was taken a step further. You can now actually add captions to the pictures by adding the “span class” attribute. As an example the image on the right is a normal “class=”alignright” image. The code will look like this in html form.
img src=”http://blogigs.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/box-tube-theme.png” class=”alignright” alt=”box-tube-theme.png”

Now the cool thing you can do is adding a caption to the picture by adding the “span class=”caption-img-left” just before those codes. Taking the codes given above as an example, I would now change the {class=”alignright”} to look like this code instead.
<span class=”caption-img-left”>img src=”http://blogigs.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/box-tube-theme.png” <em>your caption text</em></span>
Now the picture will appear on the left with captions that you have added.
Sorry, I was about to introduce the few cool features about adding captions to your pictures and others, but somehow I could not get the codes to work as it should after many tries. Maybe it’s just me, but I was not able to make the caption as part of the image as it should.
LOL. Anyway, for those who manage to make it work, I sure would like to hear how.
One more not so cool thing is I can’t change anything in the RSS Subcriber’s Box if I used the included RSS widget. In the end, I cut and pasted the whole set of codes in the sidebar to make it appear BEFORE the “dynamic sidebar” so I can manually edit it.
Anyway, other than these “advanced” cool options that I feel might be a problem for noobs like me to use in this theme, it is a nice looking theme and I quite like it.
