I stopped writing about making money online quite sometime ago. Reason being, I discovered that to really make money online, there are certain things that, if revealed publicly, like in this blog for instance, can earn the wrath of big Daddy G. However, if the truth is not revealed, I would be then be taking people up the wrong path which might eventually be more harmful than helpful, simply because making money online is not just starting a blog, inserting some affilliate links or Adsense Ads and you will see money pouring in.
There are many intricacies involved when it comes to making money online and some of them are not looked upon too kindly by the all mighty G or some who thinks they are holier than thou. On the surface, you might see a very normal looking blog with some Ads and Links. You might not realize it, but to get those Ads and Links to make you money there are so many things that happens backstage. It is just like you enjoying a blockbuster movie. The 90 to 120 minutes you spent inside the theater took the producers months and millions to complete.
Furthermore, this blog has moved so far away from the making money genre that it would be rather inappropriate for me to be writing on this topic anymore. Today I am making a small exception and will dwell on a little bit about this age old topic. This is because my buddy, Griz, who recently started playing golf while making money online, sent one of his friends, Janet, over asking me to review her newly published ebook, Nomads Guide To Make Money Online 2009. As any friends of Griz are also my friends, I agreed to to this review. However, friends are friends but I still have my principles to stick to, so what I am going to say will be my direct opinions.

Like all ebooks, this one starts with the normal long winded introductory chapters which I feel is rather boring and unnecessary. How I wish all ebook authors will skip this habit of prolonging their books. A simple introduction will be enough because people who buys the book just wants the information they are looking for, not read about the author’s life history.
Having said that, after the boring start which you definitely can skip, the “meat” of the book is, I can safely tell my readers without having to camouflage my conscience , very informative for all those who are new to making money online. These are the “secrets” that I talked about a while ago, that happens backstage and these things are seldom revealed to you openly by all those so-called online money making gurus for 2 reasons. The first and a highly probable one is they themselves DO NOT know for they are just parroting what other “gurus” have said. The second one is they know but they are not telling because it does not look too good on their reputation having to resort to such tactics.
By saying this way, I am making it to look as though you will be committing a crime if you follow what this book reveals. No, believe me, it’s not that serious. They are just slight manipulations, but it is something that has to be done in order to compete in the dog eat dog world of Internet Marketing. It is also not complicated, but it does take some time and effort, but then, that’s the way it is when it comes to making money online.
To be fair though, these tips are good if you have never learned the truth and that stands for the majority of people who are still groping their way around trying to find the magic bullet of making money online. It goes into detail on how a proper keyword research is done. How links are brought in effectively. Many of you would have thought keyword research means going to Google Adwords and keying in your keywords to see the amount of Searches. It involves more than that. Many of you also think getting links means commenting on some do-follow blogs or submitting articles and URLs to some directories. Those are just the basics. Real Internet Marketers does more. They do it differently and very much more effectively. That’s what this ebook is about and there is where you money’s worth is.
There are, however a part in the book that I would like to make some clarifications. Not to fault Janet as I think this book was written before it happened. Discard the reference to Niche Devil. For one, it is rather tricky to use and at the same time avoid the radar of Mighty G.And two, it is not available anymore. This script got so overheated after the initial launch that it was taken off the shelf before the 14 days sales period was even up. I do hope Janet will revise the book and take off the link. It will be doing those who bought the book a favor by not having to follow a dead link.
Overall, I feel it is a good book to read even if you are not into making money online. The tips could be applied to blogging in general if you want to increase your blog hits. There is even an affiliate program should you want to promote the ebook in your site. Just buy the book, read it, and do a small review like this one in your blog and you will earn back whatever you have spent. Do me a favor though. Use some of the tips you have read when posting the review so your post gets ranked. Otherwise, no one will be reading it and you will not make a single dime.
