I really recognise the frustration. My main blog (which is kind of a mix of social media, beta news and blogging tips) isn't attracting much traffic either, but I've started a couple of others that focuses on a particular video game (FIFA 08) and that one is very successful. So successful so I've bought the domain name for the next version and plan on blogging about FIFA 09. There are plenty of niches out there. While the intrinsic value is nice, monetary value is the reason many are looking to get involved. Lack of financial success is probably the reason so many quite. Thinking that we need to do to blurt out something that seems creative for others is indeed harder.
