Of late, I have been reading a lot of how to make money online, but I have to say, I haven’t found one that I can apply in person as a blogger of my capacity and I think there are millions of others like me out there in a similar predicament.

There used be a time not too long ago that anyone who has a 3 month old blog can make some nice side income from all those $6 reviews. All they have to do is to write 3 of them and they have $18 bucks in their pockets. Some hardworking ones started more than 10 blogs, all making the same amount each day, which ballooned their income to $180 per day. That is not exactly chicken feed. It is on par with the pay of a senior management personnel. This fairy tale came to a drastic end and what we have now is a whole lot of abandoned blogs. Once the money stops flowing, there is no more incentive to write even the dumbest nonsense which they have been churning out before.

The lasted tips I read also involves starting tons of blogs and inserting these blogs with tons of nonsensical articles filled with killer keywords, drawing tons of search traffic so they make money from their Ads and affiliate sales. This is not something new and has been practices since the birth of Adsense , but it has taken a new twist. The abandoned blogs, though stripped of their page ranks are still indexed by Google and many have cleaned them up and started this practise of attracting search traffic so they can still make their $18 from Ads and affiliate sales. What they only need to know now is a full understanding of how to manipulate and what keyword attracts the most traffic.

Many have also found that going about this way is less time consuming. All they need is one or two articles per week that has some really good keywords and traffic will be flowing in for months to come. A very informative article by Grizz, Let’s Make Money Right Now, shows you how he goes about it in clear and simple English.

However, not all Bloggers, especially me, have the resources and the time to commit ourselves to such a practise, ethical or otherwise. It would almost mean becoming a full time blogger, something which I am not ready to plunge myself into just yet with all my family and business commitments. What most of us needs now is something that would make us a nice side income to help pay off the mortgage and we will die happy.

In view of that, it is my opinion or advise, if you like to call it that, bloggers in the same boat as me should not rush headlong to make money with per per click like what these successful bloggers are doing. Those are good tips and advises and I am sure they are given out in good faith so others might benefit, but we have to ask ourselves whether we are ready for that. It might sounds easy in words, it always sounds easy in words, but in this world, nothing comes easy. Especially when it comes to making money. Online or otherwise.
