When I submitted my entry to Daily Blog Tips, Blog Writing Project I was of course not expecting much out of it other than maybe getting a few backlinks which are guaranteed in projects like this. To date the submitted article has about 13 backlinks from participants who has taken part and posted the final list in their blogs. My purpose has been realized and it has been better than expected. Traffic for the past two days were encouraging or at least better than normal days. That is the benefit of joining a project like this. It is not so much about winning. The free publicity is worth much more for a struggling blog like this one.
The project has been an overwhelming success for Daniel, garnering a total 121 submissions from bloggers around the world. Since I am a participant and one with a lame tip at that, it is my obligation to go through the participant’s entry and that was what I did for almost the whole of yesterday afternoon. Since my ares of interest is in blogging, I paid particular attention to entries under that category.
I was quite dissapointed though. Out of the 32 submissions from that category, I can hardly find one that posted anything something unique that I haven’t heard or read of somewhere before. Most were recycled tips that has been posted a thousand times over by all those so called blogging gurus. At least my little tip has some originality in it or at least it seems that way to me.
Hey, most will tell how to do an e-mail promotion, but they didn’t remind you to pace out the e-mails did they? Well, I did. That’s original to say the least. Hahahaha…
Anyway, after perusing all the tips written by the participants under Blogging Tips, I find these two most compelling. At least I feel they are very original and not some recycled stuffs. I hope others feels the same way and they win this contest.
