I’ve never been a big fan of Internet Explorer. It doesn’t read codes too well and sometimes it screws up a webpage. The fact that IE remains the most widely used browser is because it comes bundled with Windows and most PC users will use with what comes with their PC. When they know better, mostr will turn to Firefox and abandon Internet Explorer.
Curious to see if there has been any improvements in the latest version, Internet Explorer 8, I downloaded it for a swing. After a couple of hours, I must say, I came away quite impressed.
Though I haven’t really grasp all the new features, which is a plenty, the few that I played with really made me want to switch over to IE for good. One very impressive feature is the ability to convert a webpage into a pdf document. After converting it even saves it to your PC. This, I feel is so cool.
It feels kind of nifty too. Unlike IE 7, where your browsing gets stalled each time you go to a new page, IE 8 is smooth in transition. There is no more “phishing” whatever that meant, and pages loads very much faster.
There are so many new features and add ons that it will take me weeks to get used to and explore. Meanwhile I think Internet Explorer 8 looks real promising.

I am using IE8 and as you can see there are broken links to the stories, only the ones that contain images. The site works fine in Firefox.
Any fixes for this?
Thanks,
Diane
Sorry I thought my post would have contained the website.

You name do link to your site, Diane.
Anyway, I think the problem is you did not specify your Custom Field properly. Most magazine themes like the one you are using, and even this one that I am using uses the Custom Filed to display thumbnail images in the Home page.
Check your theme’s documentation for information as different Themes uses different Custom Filed names for different purposes.
