It’s hard drive cleaning time again. Times like this, I clear out all the junks that I have accumulated over the past year. Most are ebooks that I got for free in exchange for my email and when you get eBooks for free via this method, rest assured that most will be junks filled with tons of affiliate links urging you to sign up for some programs that will cost you your right arm.
I accept this Internet marketing fact. I knew what to expect but downloaded it anyway just to see what the heck it’s all about. I can only pity the new guy who falls for this strategy and end up with tons of junks paid with their hard earned money. But then, what the hell, one day they too will grow up so maybe the money spent can be considered lessons bought.
Anyway, I went through the pile of junk and found a few that are worth keeping. Don’t remember if I bought them or otherwise. Most are newbie stuffs that beginners would love to read and know. Among the few, I think this 2 will benefit the new blogger. If anything, there are no affiliate links and the contents are good and true.
I am giving these 2 eBooks away to all Blogigs.com subscribers as a token of appreciation for being such good supporters all this while.
Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide

I don’t remember where I downloaded this eBook, and there is no author credits to the book. The opening line starts with:
Welcome to Google’s Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide. This document first began as an effort to help teams within Google, but we thought it’d be just as useful to webmasters that are new to the topic of search engine optimization and wish to improve their sites’ interaction with both users and search engines. Although this guide won’t tell you any secrets that’ll automatically rank your site first for queries in Google (sorry!), following the best practices outlined below will make it easier for search engines to both crawl and index your content.
So I guess it must be from some very legitimate site. By all means it is a good book to read if you want to know what Google expects from your site in order to be viewed favorably by them.
One Way Link Building Tips

Think I got this one when a bought a script. There will be some links to that but don’t bother about it. The book gives a good explanation about link building and how it helps to get a good ranking for your blog. It goes into detail on how page ranks are calculated and the benefits, Even though Google has proclaimed that Page Ranks are no more in vogue, many gurus are skeptical over this claim as the Page Rank Toolbar is still active and page Ranks are still being updated. A good read even if you are not an avid back linker. At least the next time you link to someone, you will do it correctly.
Like I mention, these 2 eBooks are available for download to all Blogigs dot com subscribers. The download links is the bottom of the article and it should be visible starting with this post feed. Those interested can also subscribe anytime to access the download by using the form below.
