With reference to my previous post, asking whether SEO themes work where I wrote that I found not much difference, I have a change of perpective now that I have read Darren Rowse post and his interview with two of his Blog’s theme designers Chris Pearson and Sarah Lewis. After getting them to come up with a SEO theme, Darren’s blog saw an overnight increase of a hundred percent and his Googles referrals went up from 800 a month to 2400 a month. Upon reading this, I am now totally convinced that SEO themes, if really done by professionals DOES work for our blogs.

It just goes to show how ignorant a blogger and how much I still have to learn even after blogging for nearly 2 years. I have since added these 2 gurus in my blog roll so that I can keep tab of their teachings and hopefully find ways to make my blogs a little bit more successful.

The problem with me is I am always skeptical about the tips I read as there are so many self appointed gurus out there whose blog professes to teach you about blogging and stuffs but when you go there, all you find is cut and paste stuffs and some pumped up idea of their own, written just for the sake of attracting traffic and without research.

Things a going to change from now on. As I will probably never be able to afford the services of Chris and Sarah,I have done the next best thing and that is by using Chris’s Cutline Theme which he is giving away for free download. Hopefully it will be at least 50% as good as those he does for professionals.
