Saturdays are always dull blogging days so I went googling for my favorite topic, Blog Optimization Tips, and SEO Tips. The first keywords returned result of more than 3.6 million pages so I thought I would learn something new today. After digging into page 40, I am convinced that whatever tips there are to be given has already been given and there are no secret formulas as touted by many Internet marketeers.
Out of the more than 100 pages that I browsed through, the tips offered are nothing new and nothing that I have not read about. There are so many pages with the same content, some taken word for word, some with a bit of alterations and the majority treating the copied ideas as their own with lots starting by saying, “I am going to show you…”, giving the impression that they have came up with some ingenious idea when they have copied someone else’s. After reading all the similar articles, I have no idea who was the originator anymore and who shall I give credit to.
It is a very disappointing outing. There are so many blogs out there with fantastic titles that really gives the impression that you will find some very fantastic tips, but in the end I felt cheated into going there. I feel guilty of giving those imposters a page impression that they don’t deserve.
