That is a really well thought-out post Costa. One thing a friend taught me, when you are doing an imitation, call it a “replica”.

I agree. There is no shame in learning or imitating from the best. Afterall, if they are the best, there will definitely be something of worth to learn from.

Like you say, Japanese cars are successful today becos they got to a good start. They’ve taken the sure path taken by their European/American counterpart and later modified to suit them. The most important factor is the Japs are more innovative with their ways.
