Starting a Blog to make money? FORGET IT!

Okay. I am going to be real blunt here, I am not trying to be a wet blanket or anything but if your intention now is to start a blog and think you can make money from it next week, or next month or maybe next 3 months, you can forget it. Yes! FORGET IT! You won’t be making a single penny. It’s a fact. Even the top blogs you see around these days only started to make some money after 6 months of intensive work to get their blogs off the ground. So never, NEVER, listen to all those people who says things like “Start a Blog! Make Money This second!” They are bluffing you and they are misleading you to hell.

Adsense Won’t Make you Money

Everyone tells you, hey, Adsense is so easy money. Add some codes, write some post, money will come just like that. JUST LIKE THAT? JUST LIKE THAT? I wish it was really just like that, but the fact is, IT IS NOT JUST LIKE THAT. If your blog is one week old or maybe one month old and the only readers you have is you and your girlfriend or boyfriend or maybe your unmarried Auntie who is so bored, then you will know that it is NOT JUST LIKE THAT. In this case, Adsense in your blog is for exhibition purposes only. It is there to show that you too have Adsense just like everyone else. Trust me, that’s the main reason why you see Adsense in almost every blog, I am also one of them. t becomes something of an obsession that you must have Adsense or else you won’t be looking like a real blogger.

The hard fact is, it is damn difficult to making some decent money from Adsense or whatever Pay Per Click Advertisements that you might have read from all those Money Making Gurus UNLESS you have a readership base of at least 3000 daily hits. Get this fact into your head. If you don’t have at least 3000 visitors daily, FORGET ABOUT ADSENSE or whatever PPC Advertisements. There are other more viable ways. Come to think of it, I think I should be removing all those “exhibition” Ads that have at AhPek.com. Hehehe.. Yeah.. I am removing them right after I publish this post.

But…..on the plus side, if you are starting a blog to write Paid Post, then you better start cracking now. You don’t have to worry about how many readers you get, you don’t have to worry how many comments you see. Just write, write, write. After 3 months when your blog has some ranking, go for it. Bury all your conscience and just go for it. Cover your whole blog with paid reviews and lame filler articles. See if you feel proud of your blog then, but it’s okay. We have buried our conscience, so what the heck. When the money starts rolling in, everything is worth it. We may even start a new domain of our own and keep it clean from Paid Reviews so we can at least feel a little bit better and tell the world that we don’t totally blog for money.
