Sweeping Everything Under the Rug

Many years ago, someone discovered that money could be made by selling something that is deemed senseless to some, valuable to many and downright dirty to ONE. Since there is a demand, inevitably supply was created. In fact the demand was so good that high prices were being paid to those who were willing to house those things, and the bigger and prettier the house, the more visitors will come, the higher they will pay. So many started building many houses and furnishing them extravagantly so more friends and relatives would come a visiting. They were generously compensated for their efforts and more houses were built to take advantage of the windfall that everyone seems to be getting.

One fine day, the ONE, who hates these things decided that enough is enough. He took out his 6 feet cane and started bashing up all the houses that were housing those dirty things that he absolutely hates. Since THE ONE was the ultimate god that everyone feared, many sheepishly lets him do as he pleases. Many also kneel-ed and asked for forgiveness and begged to be spared from the cane, promising to clean their houses from all those things that THE ONE hates. They were promptly forgiven and was allowed to carry on living in their house with all renovations intact, albeit a little bit poorer now that they can no longer house those things that they were being paid for before.

However, in situations like this, where money was involved, there will bound to be some who refuse to give up the good life. So many would rather wait for their Waterloo, making good whatever they could make in the meantime. Some tried silly methods to hide those things from THE ONE by sweeping all those things under pieces of cheap rugs found in their homes refusing to give up those things that still have some real value. Sadly, nothing escapes the sharp eyes of THE ONE, it’s only a matter of time before HE catches up.

In order to ensure our security and continuing stability, Google will be reorganized into the first Google Empire, for a safe and secure society which I assure you will last for ten thousand years.
