First, imagine a library. Inside this library, there are thousands of books on different categories, topics and titles. The librarian is one lazy fellow. Other than giving the library a attractive coat of paint, he just loaded the library with all the books he can afford. Of course he stacked the books neatly on shelves but he did not arrange al the books according to their categories and topics. He did not bother even arrange them in alphabetical order. Thus, when someone walks into the library, they have a hard time looking for what they want.

A normal business card, no matter how well you design it, has it’s limits. Everything considered, it is just a card the size of around 4 inches by 2 inches and you can only insert that much information into that tiny piece of paper. In days of old, a business card will contain 2 pieces of the most important information. The name and the contact number or the person giving out the card. When the Internet was invented, another 2 piece of information was added and that was, the email and if the person has one, a web site URL.

Received an email from a guy asking me some weird questions about wp blog themes and it was only after 3 exchanges that I realized I, or rather he, was barking up the wrong tree. He is using a Joomla template, something which is totally alien to me. I do not know if it was me or him who was more embarrassed over the matter. Maybe I should add a statement in my Contact Page that I can only offer advise on wp blog themes.

Some bloggers prefers a Theme which has only one column for their contents and nothing else. They want no distractions for their readers and honestly, from a blog reader’s point of view, I do enjoy reading more from a blog that has no too much fancy stuffs cluttered all round their blogs. Size, in this instance is the size area of your blog layout and not size in terms of traffic, contents or whatever that you deemed as the bigger the better. Some says, ’size does not matter’, what matters is the quality.
