Hi,
This is Brian from Themegrade.com. I see that you are promoting Woothemes like I do.
Recently, I found out that Woothemes DOESN’T treat their affiliates fairly. They even reverse sales that are already paid out. Do you have similar experience like me?
I decided to create a post about my experience. You can find the details at http://www.themegrade.com/woothemes-affiliate-program-should-i-trust-it/.
I strongly advise you to check your account and see if you have the same issue. I would also appreciate if you could let me know what you think of their affiliate program.
Hi Brian,
Sorry to hear about your predicament. Frankly, I just have the banner on my sidebar and have never really promoted Woothemes, thus insofar, I have not made any sales, so I can’t give my opinions or feedback.
Anyway, when I was learning Affiliate marketing, my mentor made it very clearly and bluntly that every Online Marketer WILL try to find the smallest excuse NOT to pay their affiliates and there is nothing we can do about it for it is always their words against ours. The only thing we can do is if it gets to bad, we leave the program.
It is something I took to heart. The moment I feel I have been short-changed too badly, I will stop promoting their products and that is all to it. No ranting, no whining, no complaining. They can keep their product and promote it themselves for all I care.
