The Most Lowdown Link-bait Tactic That I Have Ever Seen.
Everyone who has a blog link-baits sometime or another. Its part and parcel of blogging. There are even link-bait specialist that sells their link-baiting services. Blog gurus encourages link-baiting to garner more visitors to your blogs. Link-baiting is an accepted practise that no one can take offence if they are baited whether intentionally or otherwise.
However to cheat people with big lies once and again in order to increase readership is in my opinion, akin to committing criminal breach or trust. It is link-baiting in it’s lowest form. It is lowdown and disgusting.
The first time he cheated his readers so that they will go and write about it in their blogs was the time that he put up his blog for sale. It created a buzz so successful that it prompted him to do it a second time, this time even more ridiculous by saying he is being sued and the whole blog will have to be shut down, only to come back 2 days later without a word of repentance, but a brief mentioned that it was an April Fools joke gone bad.
Of course he expects his readers to laugh with him at his “smart prank” and flood their blogs with his outrageousness, praising him for his ingenuity and yet again achieving his initial motive of increasing publicity to his increasingly popular blog.
What surprises me even more was the bigger of the two evils decides to play along with this silly prank by saying that he will be looking into ways to help the lessor evil overcome his lawsuit problem, igniting further speculation over this spectacular piece of news. Whether this was done intentionally or whether the bigger of the 2 evils got scammed like the rest is not for me to say but the fact was, all traffic were diverted to the bigger evil’s blog for that period. Looks like the bigger of the 2 evils is fast loosing his reputation as the most evil of all.
Remember the story of the boy who cried wolf once too often? I do. I went along with the crowd to see the fiasco twice. I don’t think I will be heading there for a third time even if all his cows gets eaten by the wolves for real this time.

LOL, I didn’t know about the first time so the 2nd time was my first time so I don’t cheesed of. Hahaha. But at least my April Fools prank got more response than him.
What to do? In his quest to outdo the evil one, he’s resorted to be more evil. lol
But then like you said, there’s a thin fine line between a genius and a moron. Good taste & bad.
Just hope it’s not a conspiracy coup cooked up by both the 2 evils. Blek
