I created a profile for facebook. Did the same at myspace and at numerous other places that are suppose to be good places to get networked and bring tons of traffic. There are countless articles out there teaching me how to go about doing it, which all seems simple enough but when put to practise is so time consuming that if I spend the time doing what I am suppose to do to get the numbers, I won’t have time to update my blog no more. So like most of all the ideas and methods given to me and which I started, all were left hanging in mid-air.
I lost count of how many of these sites I have registered and sometimes when I stumble in again, I will even surprise myself that I am already a member! I don’ even remember signing up with some of them. Frankly, I have given up on all of them. For a layman who does not have top level SEO skills and who does not have the time to spend countless hours socialising in facebook or myspace, the best bet for me to get traffic is get an article or two stumbledupon weekly. Alternatively, I also can pay for it if I am desperate enough by way of Ad Campaigns. However, for a meta blog like this, I don’t think spending money for traffic will be viable.
The other option is to write really good contents that would get mentioned by people all over, but with my limited knowledge of everything, good and original content don’t come that easily. Maybe that is my hindrance. Knowing a little of everything. If you ask me about SEO, I can tell you a little bit. If you ask about Wordpress, I too can tell some stories and if anyone wants to know some simple things about WordPress Themes modification, I can also offer some simple advise, but if you want me to go full fledged, I am a big noob. Realizing this fact is no big help either. It give me some sort of an inferiority complex.
So I shall never be an “authority” blogger for I don’t have authority over any subject. I admire those with deep knowledge of what they are blogging about and I try to learn. In my humble opinion, we must admit to our weakness. It is only then that we will be willing to learn from others and when it comes to learning, age is not a barrier. I am learning everyday from people half my age and I feel no shame.

Yes, I agree with you and that is why you always have my respect.
No, no, no I’m not saying it just for the sake of saying it. I meant it.
Another thing about learning is to be open-minded and accept different viewpoints, tips and comments from others rationally.
You’re giving up too easy, or just not going about it the right way. I worked at it for a number of years (trial and error) and just within the past year or so have figured a lot of it out and made decent revenue.
There are only a few bloggers that will give you the “straight scoop” on how to do it. Vic is one of them, although I wish he had an alternate site I could share with some friends and my kids. Courtney Tuttle and Maki at Dosh Dosh are two of the others.
Honestly, even when you figure it out, it’s going to take another 6-18 months to make decent money.
Build multiple sites and work the heck out of them. Never assume which ones will hit or miss, work them all and you’ll be surprised by the results.
Invest in some of the “legitimate” app’s and programs.

You are making me blush. LOL.

Well, that’s exactly what I am doing right now. Like you say, all trial and error, but hopefully this time with less error.
Will be waiting anxiously for your blog’s launching. Can’t wait to learn more about niche blogging and I do hope you are as open as Vic when it comes to giving away tips.
One of the beauty about blogging is that we must keep on learning to constantly have new ideas of what to post. Informational blogging has come to a stage where a piece of information might seen as unique for you the writer but when posted, people might have seen it somewhere else.
Anyway, what keeps me coming back to this blog is not the information or blogging tips it has provided (maybe they are blogging tips in some way). What I have enjoyed about your posts is the thoughts behind it that makes me think after reading them. Maybe you can make your contents more to this side but it is just my opinion.
You having a problem? Nah, I don’t see any problem with your site. I read your blog daily just like what I do with Problogger’s and Skellie’s. So, as far as I am concerned, your writing and opinion ranks as high as theirs.
Would you be satisfied just to know that one reader of yours (or perhaps many more) hold your blog in such high regards?
I’ve listed your blog at http://www.stumbleupon.com, let’s see if that gets you some more hits.

Thanks!
