Using A WordPress Theme For A Marketing Site

Over the past couple of weeks I modded a simple WordPress Theme for my Internet Marketing Blog. Using the default Kubrik theme that came with the WordPress installation, I overhauled the looks, removed some and added some, codes of my own. The theme’s single post page now looks somewhat like a static html site which is a very popular format amongst Internet marketers. If someone lands on any single post page via a search, they will not realize that this is a wordpress theme.

The Kubrik Theme was a first choice for this mod due to it’s simplicity and it’s compliance with the latest version of WordPress. There was no much need to change the layout as the default is already perfectly laid out. The width is just nice and the singles post page do not have any sidebars which was just what I wanted. A sidebar would be very distracting for visitors who has intention to purchase whatever they are there for. I have also omitted any allocations for other Advertisements that may cause visitors to wander away.

If there are any request, I will put up the theme for download. :-) but you have to do your own header image.

Update: lost the theme when I did the automatic upgrade to WordPress 2.8.1. What you are seeing now is a totally new one modded using the best of all Themes. The Thesis 1.5.1 WordPress Theme. It’s a Theme modders dream theme.
