Did you read this story from BBC?
Seven people, located in different parts of the world will be entrusted with a different key each, which when used simultaneously will enable them to re-start the Internet.
In case of an attack, catastrophic in nature, cripples the Internet and all domain names in the world cannot be verified, these people will be called to action. All seven or at least five of them trustees, will converge in the US base within the shortest time possible and use their keys together to re-start the Internet.
How thrilling is that!? So Hollywood!
Just gave me an idea for a new James Bond movie.
A mad and power hungry mogul who, through his vast resources came to know the existence of those keys which will give him the power to hold the world to ransom. He dispatches his henchmen to each of the countries with plans to kidnap all the seven key holders or at least get hold of the keys.
In comes Bond. James Bond, chasing the kidnappers round the globe to prevent the next kidnapping from happening and to recover those keys. From Britain to the U.S., Burkina Faso, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, China, and then to the Czech Republic.
Imagine high speed car chases and jumping from airplanes. Imagine submarine fights and underground Chinese mafia. Imagine the new Czech Bond girl.
I think I have a best seller in hand.
Any idea on how I can get in touch with the James Bond movie producers?

And in the end, we all turn in to be in the matrix
What bothers me is why this is a World Matter, yet the Americans are in charge of it
Well, it seems that they are supposedly the World Leader and the guy who invented the Internet is from there. So I guess that gives them that right. But who cares.. LOL.
