Who was that Smart Arse Blogger
Who was that smart arse blogger who started to preach that bloggers must update their blogs at least once a day of face blog elimination from the blogoshere? And who again were the stupid arses who took his words for it and followed it like a blog doctrine for success? ME! and most of YOU! I sure would like to do track back and find out who started this stupid advice that had us all following blindly and aimlessly.
The first advise when a new blogger comes into the scene is, blah, blah, blah, update your blog at least once a day.. blah, blah, blah, comment in other blogs… blah blah blah.. Okay..okay.. those are good advises. I followed, but don’t they know that after sometime, it gets very daunting and automated? It is like teaching you to swallow your food, but not telling you what to do when you get choked.
I have come to a stage where I feel guilty if I don’t write at least one post a day. Now that is terrible. Guilty about not blogging? Come on! Surely I got more a life than that! But the horrible truth is I DO feel guilty. The sense of guilt I felt when I did not finish my homework in primary school. How can that happen? How can I let that happen to my life? I hold the guy who first uttered these sinful words, “you should update your blogs daily” responsible for my present state of mind. I want him to give me my life back.
Now let me think. What shall I blog about tomorrow….

Oh no! I used to ensure that I had a post every single day, to make up for the lost of a day’s post, multiple posts were made the next day.
Now, I take it slowly instead of posting everyday.
Wuahahahah! I think the psychiatrists in the future are gonna make loads of money from bloggers with guilty conscience
Stop being a smart ass.
Update once a month.
Psst, I have to blog sometimes becos I need interim posts…. sei loh, I blah it out.:-P
Oh wow I can so relate.
Soon I will be going for a holiday in Sabah and the main reason I’m excited about the trip is because I’ll have so much bloggable material!
Erm, is that sad?
I no pohbum..My pohbum horr, is I paiseh when I got too many things I want to write and end up with too many posts in one day.
At the end of the day, if you fall into this ‘trap’ of expectation. You’ll end up burning yourself out and not writing anymore for the wanting to write but for the need to write.
It does worry me when I can’t produce enough article for everyone to read and my stats proved this. However, I just think about what about myself. We, the authors, need to be selfish at times in order for us to grow.
