WidgetBucks is somewhat like Chitika. My opinion is if you have a niche blog writing about gadgets, computers, MP3 stuffs, it should do well. A blog like this which talks about blogging will see limited success simply because the products advertised does not fit the audience. Since it is still so new and I doubt if any has reported any thing about how well it does, I really have no idea how people will react to it.

Signing up is easy as they don’t need to review your blog first, unlike some other programs. All you need is to enter your email and a password. Retrieve their email to activate your account and you can immediately start adding the ad templates to your blogs. Unfortunately they only have limited templates for you to choose from, offering the few popular ones like skyscraper, rectangle, the full banner and the half banner.

You can choose what you want to place in your Ads or if you like you can opt for something they call MerchSense, which in this case lets their robots crawl your site and decide the most appropriate Ads to show. Just like Adsense and it is compatible so you can have both in your blogs.

You will get paid per click. Checks will be sent out when your earnings reaches $50. There is also an option to be paid via PayPal though there is no information on the minimum payout amount. Checks are sent out on the first of every month for earnings for the previous month. To sweeten the deal, you get a $25 bonus when you sign up, so you will just have to make another $25 to qualify for your first payment.

There is also a referral program where you will be also paid $25 for any publisher who signs up and have made their first $25.
