Had a couple of purchases for the Thesis Theme Developers Version this month and I thought it would be appropriate to remind readers here that if you have intention to purchase the Thesis Theme, the latest Version 1.6 is available for Developers. Still in beta, Thesis 1.6 promises a slew of improvements and for those who have purchased recently, you get to lay hands on all those cool functions before anyone else. Those who are still using the Singles version will have a wait a little while longer. I hope I guess wrong, but do keep your fingers crossed that the price do not go up when the final release is out.
Thesis 1.6 has 8 new functions and improvements:
1. Oodles of design and color options! Control font colors all over the theme. Experiment with your background color. Customize the daylights out of your nav menu. Tweak all freakin day.
2. Automatic dropdown nav menu! Bring your parent-child pages or your nested categories, and Thesis will turn them into a killer new CSS-only dropdown navigation menu….
3. Custom file editor in your WordPress dashboard: Sick of dealing with an external file editor and an FTP client every time you need to update that damned custom.css file? Not anymore…
4. New options placement in the WordPress dashboard: Instead of existing inside the Appearances section, the Thesis Options now have their own dedicated module in the WordPress dashboard menu…
5. IE-only styles are now cache-friendly….
6. Fixed post image and thumbnail frames: These actually work now. Special.
7. Suppressed warnings on all getimagesize function calls…
8. Moved the /rotator folder into the /custom folder…

Like I said in the beginning paragraph, if you have the intention of getting the Thesis Theme but still holding back for some reason, now is a good time. There is no guarantee that prices will remain with the latest version and there are no hints from the developers that there will be no price adjustments. Purchasing it now will mean you get the latest update and all updates after that, free for life.

I have been using Thesis from 4 months and I highly recommend this theme to all.
It’s SEO and typography is amazing, more over Customization of Thesis might feel little
tricky at the beginning but once you get kick of it, you will enjoy editing and modifying this theme.

Yup agree in all aspect. With the Thesis, you can tweak to your heart’s content without having to worry about breaking anything.
